Educate Yourself on Facebook & Instagram Terms of Use

If you use Instagram on/after December 20, 2020 you are automatically agreeing to the terms of use. Using the apps or accessing the pages on a computer = compliance.

By using Instagram you waive all right to participate in any class action lawsuits that may arise.

You agree to let them use your camera to see what you see, record and track you. They specifically say that they will be using your camera to suggest that you wear a mask in public.

They will be analyzing all information you or others provide: GPS locations, camera, stored photos on your phone, your cell phone carrier, phone number, your ISP, time zone, IP address, connection speed, battery level, signal strength, available storage space, network connections, and other nearby devices in your household that are also connected to the WiFi network that you are using, including your television.

They will also be collecting information that you provide to others, including reading your direct messages, analyzing what other apps you are using, analyzing mouse movements if you are using Instagram or Facebook on a computer, device IDs and other identifiers such as games, apps or accounts you use (including your bank account if you use an app or computer to access your accounts), and family device IDs.

They collect information about the people, pages, accounts, tags and groups you are connected to and how you interact with them … such as people you communicate the most with or groups that you are a part of … they also collect information from your text messages, SMS log history (regular text messages), address book and call log.
